Southend's incredible new seaside opened in July 2002. Jubilee Seashore was created from the development of the improved flood defences, and stretches from Southend Pier to Thorpe Bay. Southend Central railway station is ten minutes walk away. Access by highway is via the A120; observe the signs for the City Centre and Navyard.
